Casual players who are playing the game post the ban shouldn’t have any issues. The main concern here is for the players, Influencers, YouTubers, Streamers who are still using PUBGM KR or other versions. As reported by Indiatimes, the MeitY clarifies that there will be no penalty for casual players playing on their devices. However, any person streaming the game or trying to promote the same will be penalized.

The response essentially states that even though any users of PUBG or other such banned apps will be violating the ban, there is no penalty for the same. This exemption from penalty, however, will not save the perpetrators of the game.
This includes recorded or live content on any social media platforms that can act as the promoters of the game in India. Such intermediaries will be recognized under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act and would be penalized in case of failure to comply with the blocking order.
The game has been seeing a lot of news lately, some speculate about it coming back. There is news that Govt is in no mood for now till Feb-Mar 2021 and Krafton Inc is hiring new Leads and other employees for India. PUBGM is also working with Google to bring back the game in India.
