Vivo launches new OriginOS based on Android. Reported by PocketNow, Vivo today launched a new Mobile OS based on Android. Maybe, the Chinese giant is following Huawei. Huawei is also working and already announced few devices limited to China with HarmonyOS, it supports Internet of Things, Smartphones, Smart TV. Vivo had announced OriginOS back in developer conference 2020. The OS will be focusing on aesthetic overhaul, deep customization, a smooth user experience, and user convenience. In the words of vivo, OriginOS repurposes familiar features with new exciting designs.

At first glance, it highly replicates the iOS, and the Chinese are good at it. Lately, Apple iOS14 has got a lot of customization options and Vivo was quick to bring in a new OS, and getting all the mixture of Google Android and Apple iOS together. OriginOS also introduces a re-imagined gesture system, better memory optimization, and a major aesthetic overhaul – down from new dynamic wallpapers to updated iconography.
Funtouch OS did take a lot of inspiration from iOS and now OriginOS will surely follow. For memory optimization and system resource management, Vivo’s new Android-based mobile operating system brings Multi-Turbo 5.0 technology to the table. The company also claims that OriginOS further refines the app loading experience.
