PAN card and Aadhar link deadline today, here’s how to link in 2 mins. Govt. of India has set 31st March 2021 as the deadline for linking PAN card and Aadhar card. Many of you might have already done in past, but for a few who might not be aware, this article is for you. PAN card and Aadhar card can be linked in 2 mins.
If you fail to link your PAN card with your Aadhar card by today, your PAN card will turn invalid. Govt. can also levy Rs.1,000 penalty.
How to Link PAN card and Aadhar card:
- Enter all the details requested in the form
- OTP confirmation is the final step to complete the link
- If you have already done the same before and want to check the status, visit – https://www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-FilingGS/Services/AadhaarPreloginStatus.html
The government revealed these details in the Finance Bill, 2021, making it mandatory to link PAN with Aadhaar by March 31, 2021. For this purpose, the government added Section 234H in the Income Tax Act, 1961 to penalise those who fail to link their PAN with Aadhaar by the deadline.
