How to claim Airtel 5G for free from Airtel thanks App. 5G is being tested by Airtel and Reliance Jio for some time now. But, to understand how their network is functioning mass testing it required. Airtel yesterday has announced free 5G for all its customers who are on or above Rs239 recharge plan.
This free 5G unlimited data is over and above your daily/overall data packs. You can refer to the Terms and conditions mentioned by Airtel: https://www.airtel.in/mobile/terms-conditions
How to claim Airtel 5G for free from Airtel thanks App?
- Make sure you have turned on the 5G from your phone’s settings (Not Mandatory but good to do)
- Open Airtel Thanks App
- Scroll down on the App, you will find Claim unlimited 5G Data, tap on the same
- Once you are in, there will be an option to claim now
- Once you tap on claim, it will take you to another page mentioning that you have successfully claimed
- Do note there will be a message on the App showing the 5G is Rs.0 and at no extra cost
- For my phone the pack validity for 5G is end of May 2023
