Apple Apps and in-App purchases prices to increase in India, Apple has announced that few countries including India will see increase prices. The reason mentioned by Apple is the change in taxes or foreign exchange rates. Apple products are already pretty high in India due to Tax when compared to other countries. The price increase won’t affect auto-renewable subscriptions.

Countries apart from India include Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa.

These increases also reflect the following tax changes:

• India: New equalization levy of 2% (in addition to the existing goods and services tax of 18%)
• Indonesia: New value-added tax of 10% for developers based outside of Indonesia

Apple has shared the updated price tier charts which devs can refer to. Epic games being the current company fighting legally for 30% store fee being charged by Apple App store and Google Play store. Only time will tell if there is any chance of Apple and Google changing this fee but, ultimately it will be a challenging battle for All.

Fortnite was removed by Apple on grounds of Epic being bypassing both Apple and Google Playstore for payment system. Paytm had recently launched an Android Mini App store for devs to integrate their Apps inside Paytm and the service is free of cost.
