OnePlus 8T is now receiving OxygenOS update



OnePlus 8T is now receiving OxygenOS update. The new update brings in 5G optimization for extended battery endurance and some minor bug fixes and improvements. The update size is around 390mb.


OnePlus 8T update Changelog:

  • System
    • Optimized system power consumption and reduce heat generation
    • Fixed the issue that icons are not displayed on the desktop in a small probability
    • Improved system stability and fixed known issues
  • Bluetooth
    • Optimized Bluetooth connection to reduce latency
    • Improved connection stability
  • Gallery
    • Fixed the abnormal display issue with loading preview photo
  • Network
    • Optimized the intelligent 5G function to extend battery endurance capacity

As always, this OTA (Over the air) will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days.

The company is pushing out a regular update for all the phones that makes the experience better. Recently the Nord series received few updates as well. OxygenOS is getting a little away from the Stock experience however that doesn’t mean the experience is bad.
