Nvidia GTX 1660 graphics card crypto Mining hashrate and profitability. I have been using a few different graphics cards for crypto mining. I will be making few articles after using it for a while, sharing hashrate, profitability, etc. Today, I am sharing hashrate and everything around GTX 1660 crypto mining. A lot of people might have gone through numerous videos, posts, and the trend of how Crypto is rising.

I have been using MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ventus XS 6G OC for more than a month now and below are some good to know things.

Hashrate:

I am using Phoenix miner and getting around 25.6Mhs. For sure, no one uses the default settings when mining, so you can use MSI Afterburner to tweak the hashrate. The default hashrate for 1660 is around 21-22Mhs, however with some of the OC settings you can achieve 25-26Mhs with less power draw. Below are the settings I am using and the hashrate screenshot:

The OC not only increases hash by 4-5Mhs but at the same time decreases the power usage. Again, these settings works best for me and are stable for quite a while now. But, if you are using any other 1660 cards like Gigabyte, INNO3D, etc. you can always tweak settings. Share with us so that it may help someone.

Profitability:

Specifically talking about the Indian market, I got the MSI GTX 1660 at around Rs.45,000. But, anyone thinking to buy 1660 should go and buy 1660 super. I have multiple systems and didn’t want to invest much so had to settle for 1660. Considering the price and the amount of ETH (Ethereum) the card can generate and also the electricity cost, I can come to break even in 1-1.5 years.
