Micromax “in” series smartphone specification has surfaced online. There aren’t many details or looks, but the specification seems to be giving hint that Micromax wants to play it safe and be on its turf where they perform the best. The budget category is already heated up by Chinese players like Xiaomi, Realme, Poco, etc.
Micromax’s Co-founder Rahul Sharma in a recent video talked about the comeback with “in” series for India.

As per source, the “in” series smartphone may come with 2-3 models and it will be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 Chipset and MediaTek Helio G35. The pricing will be somewhere between ₹ 7,000 – ₹ 15,000. I know the range is pretty big but, only time will tell what Micromax has to offer.
For basic phones like these, it’s best to go with Stock Android as nobody wants to do an experiment like everyone doing with the UI. The phones will come with Stock Android and a hefty but much needed 5000mAh battery. RAM/Storage combination will be 2GB/32GB and 3GB/32GB. The 2GB RAM model will have a total of three cameras on board. An 8MP selfie shooter on the front, with a 13MP primary camera on the back, joined by a 2MP unit.
The 3GB RAM variant, on the other hand, will feature a total of four cameras. A 13MP camera on the front and a triple camera setup on the back consisting of 13MP, 5MP and 2MP modules.
The names of these “in” series smartphones are not yet known, and Micromax hasn’t announced when they will arrive. As per the source, the same should be launched somewhere around the first week of November.
