Lava Mobiles India: myZ World’s first customizable phone and more. Since the Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat has started catching trend, more companies are getting back. Indian made smartphone smartphones or tech Industry isn’t new. The companies which long left the market or went silent are now back. Micromax coming up with IN1b and now Lava has entered the market pretty aggressively.

China’s supply chain is not unknown in the tech industry, however, Make in India is making things possible. You can’t scale up production or manufacturing in just 1 night or a year. China took some good years and streamlined its huge population for better use.

Long story short, Lava is back after announcing its comeback with some much needed innovations. Starting what if I told you you can now actually build your phone? Sounds Interesting?

Here are a few highlights of what Lava myZ is all about:

1. Roughly 66 Different combinations to choose from (Rear Camera, Selfie Camera, RAM, ROM(Storage) and color)
2. Phone’s cost varies from approx. ₹6,000 to ₹10,000 depending on your customization.
3. SOC – MediaTek Helio G35, 5000mAh Battery, 6.5 inch Screen remains constant.
4. The customization can be also done post purchase by visiting Lava Service.

The other offerings are on the same side of the entire ecosystem. The major specs, here again, remain the same like MediaTek Helio G35, 5000mAh Battery, 6.5 inch Screen. The other things vary depending on the above mentioned price point.

The phones will be available from 11th Jan 2021 on Amazon IndiaLavamobiles.com, and Offline stores.

Lava has also launched the BEU model which is to be more focused on the female category. Z1 the world’s first designed in India smartphone. The other offering is the fitness band called befit. The smartband consists of health features like a SpO2 sensor, heart rate, temperature, etc. The same costs ₹2,699 and the first sale is scheduled for 26th January 2021.  

These offerings seem good for a start. However, MediaTek Helio G35 budget smartphones have already crowded the Indian market.
