Dubai media office warns about the new scam and phishing Dubai Crypto coin. Dubai is always ahead and encouraging technology. The craze of Cryptocurrency is growing by leaps and bounds. However, though there are a lot of things to consider and have a better understanding of, Scams can’t be stopped. Today, Dubai’s official Tweet comes in as a timely saver.


The Twitter handle confirms that Dubai hasn’t approved any Official Crypto coin named Dubai coin. Dubai Crypto coin saw a jump of 100% in the recent few days. Though after the official announcement by Dubai Media office the coin had a sell off and was down 50%. Major Cryptocurrencies trading platforms like CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko removed the coin from their website.

Dubai coin is a phishing scam aimed at stealing the personal data of its visitors. As reported by Cointelegraph,

The now-defunct website of Dubai Coin claims that it’s a project powered by ArabianChain Technology, a public blockchain developed in the region. ArabianChain was quick to announce, one day before the officials, that the Dubai Coin website is unrelated to the company. It also called the project website a scam.

According to the ArabianChain website, DBIX is the native digital currency of the platform, but it’s unrelated to Dubai Coin. “DBIX is the fuel of Arabianchain and the first minable digital currency in the region,” the official description reads.

The article’s sole purpose is to educate everyone and especially the new investors. However, I believe totally in new and old Crypto Projects. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, and also many new Projects are already making their mark in the Industry. But, everyone needs to research before putting in any money.
