Apple iPhone 12 compatible 20W charger launched by Xiaomi. Apple decided to remove the charger from the new iPhone 12 series and other 2020 models. The company mentioned this move as betterment for Planet, but this is another marketing gimmick. Apple thinks every new iPhone buyer might be using an Apple iPhone before, but that’s not the case. The new fast charging is also iPhone 12 first which means users have to buy a new charger anyhow. 

Xiaomi launched a USB-C Power delivery adapter that is compatible with iPhone 12. This is taken ahead by Xiaomi’s ecological chain company ZMI as reported by Gizmochina. Pricing will be 39 yuan (~$5) and will go on sale on November 3rd.

The charger can provide fast charging for Xiaomi 10 and iPhone 11, compatible with multiple fast charging protocols, and can also provide fast charging for devices such as Samsung S10, iPad Pro, and Switch. The Xiaomi 20W Type-C charger has a white appearance and weighs 43.8g.

The charger comes with a variety of tech built inside – high-precision resistance-capacitance sensing devices, supports over-voltage protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, and has the characteristics of anti-electromagnetic interference, low ripple, and resistance to static electricity.
