Mobiistar X1 Notch Review: Stylish Looks & AI Camera under Budget
We recently gave you a glimpse of Mobiistar’s new Offering which is the X1 Notch. Today we will dig deep down & will try to bring out whether this device is worth a watch. Mobiistar is relatievly a new brand which is keeping a low profile but Yes it does have something to prove. So without further a do let’s get into the review.

Design
As the Title states Stylish Looks, Yes the X1 Notch comes with a beautiful design. We were lucky that Mobiistar gave us Gradient Shine color option rather than the usual Black. The devices look premium when you know that the device is already a budget offering. The Notch is something which can be noticed at the front & doesn’t bother you much. The right side has Volume & Power buttons aligned & their feedback helps you differentiate between the two results. Left side sports slots for 2 SIMs & 1 micro SD card which is a welcome feature & a user doesn’t need to compromise here.
Performance
When you see the price of this phone you better don’t expect that this phone should handle any games you throw at it & it should work flawlessly. Performance doesn’t mean high Benchmark scores or maybe forced scores. X1 Notch has a decent performance considering the price but we did see a bit delay in UI but that can be optimized through a software update. Antutu Score is always welcomed so I have posted the same for you all. The phone comes in 2 variants, 2GB+16Gb & 3GB+32GB. The phone pack in MediaTek Helio A22 which is a Quad-Core based SOC. For Graphics it has a PowerVR GE8300.
Camera
We were traveling a few months back & luckily Mobiistar gave us the X1 Notch, we were not able to get too many images but yes we found few good ones to just showcase how its camera can actually perform. If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter we did share this Image long back. You all can see at the given price point the phone does a decent job. The selfie camera is yet to be tested & we can’t get it in this review. The camera comes with AI & as we all know AI improves as time passes by so we can say that the camera can improve a lot through software & AI combined.
Misc
We can talk here about other things so we have a small list of things which the user needs more info on. Coming to the point, Battery seems to have an average performance. The charging time is also on the downside, you can use a high power charger to charge it faster. Network Performance is A+. The Phone comes with Android 8.1.
Verdict
Coming to the verdict I won’t give you all Jargon, let’s make it more Simpler:
Pros:
1. Design, Style & Looks
2. Day to Day usage of the phone
3. Clean & Stock UI Experience
4. AI which can improve the Camera Performance
Cons:
1. Battery Screen on time
2. Charging time (Can be fixed with a high Watt charger)
If you want a phone at a price point of around 7K-10K & don’t want to look further I guess Mobiistar X1 Notch can be taken into consideration.
