Asus Zenfone 5Z Launched in India with Aggressive Pricing & Unique After Sale Support

Asus Zenfone 5Z was the first Android device with a Notch & at MWC it blew everyone’s mind. After more than 4 months when Other Major Smartphone players have already launched their Notch design smartphones, Asus launched its most awaited Smartphone the Zenfone 5Z here in Delhi, India. We were in Delhi to witness what Asus has to offer apart from pricing the smartphone rightly. Asus started their Presentation by thanking everyone as their first smartphone of the Year 2018 the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was among the Top selling smartphones between the 10-15K price range on Flipkart. They also informed that the much awaited 6GB variant will be coming somewhere around Mid July 2018 & will bring a lot of extra features apart from just Camera & RAM upgrade. To remind you all Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be having a better camera (16MP front & rear) & RAM combination  (6GB) & will be a direct competition to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

It’s 2018 & if we don’t hear AI we are confused that is the tech Companies out of Date? Zenfone 5Z is no different. Asus Zenfone 5Z is equipped with AI in all the possible way.  AI will be present in Zenfone 5Z in 3 layers starting with Deep learning, Machine learning & Finally Artificial Intelligence. As per Asus, the Smartphone main AI highlight can be seen in Gallery where it will use its AI technology to organize Pictures & use it for more enhancement using AI. AI ringtone will be something to look out for where the Phone’s ringtone will automatically adjust its volume according to the nearby environment.

The Zenfone 5Z will sport a 2.5D Glass is Rear & as well as in the front. The smartphone has a Screen to body ratio of 90% & is just 7.7mm thin. The aspect ratio is 19:9 & comes with a 6.2″ FHD+ Display. Outdoor visibility won’t be a challenge with this smartphone as it will have 550 NITS brightness & will come with auto color temperature.

As per Qualcomm’s India head, the SD845 chip which is used in 5Z is equipped with 3rd Generation AI technology & it’s highly optimized for AI usage. The GPU is 30% faster & efficient which is Adreno 630. Comes with different RAM & ROM combination. Face Unlock & Fingerprint sensor remains the standard for 2018 Smartphones.

The Boot time is something we don’t look much while seeing the smartphone but still it boots merely faster than Oneplus 6 which is supposed to be a direct competition to 5Z.  The Smarphone supports AI & QC 3.0 fast charging.

It has a Dual Camera setup with 12MP+8MP combination. Selfie side it has an 8MP camera. With the addition of ZenUI 5.0, all the necessary additions are made when it comes to a Manual mode or any mode you would wish for in an Asus Smartphone.

Asus promised of something which I haven’t seen if any company even looks into that’s service. Asus is always known for a good service compant but with the launch of 5Z swap devices, free pick up & drop are few notable things which you don’t get easily in India. Flipkart’s protection plan is available for users. Sale starts 9th July at 00:00 hours.
