ASUS announces 3 new member in the Zenfone Series – Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Z & Zenfone 5 Lite

After the Zenfone 4 series, ASUS was quite mum on their side. But yesterday ASUS announced the most awaited smartphone in MWC 2018 that is the Zenfone 5 series.
The Zenfone 5 series really created a buzz with their new design concept 9which looks similar to the iPhone X. But, what’s the major change Is the camera. The Zenfone 5 series comes with one of the best wide angel camera in the market. Whereas, the spec the Zenfone 5 series has 3 variant that are the Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Z & Zenfone 5 Lite targeting the mid, flagship & low end model.
Zenfone 5 Lite:
The Zenfone 5 Lite comes under the budgeting segment. It has an amazing 6-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with 2160×1080 resolution. What makes the display beautiful is the IPS panel. The Zenfone 5 Lite has 2 variant that comes with the Snapdragon 630 & 430 processor along with 4GB RAM.
Talking about the camera the smartphone loads a dual 16MP + 8MP rear camera whereas the front camera is majorly focused on selfie with 20 MP+8MP camera sensor.
Zenfone 5:
The Zenfone 5 is the mid-ranged smartphone that is equipped with the 6.2-inch 19:9 Super IPS display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor with 2 variant on the RAM that is 6GB & 4GB.
At the rear you will find a dual 12MP +8MP camera with f1.8 for better low light images. On the front it has an 8MP selfie camera. AT the software front it has an Android Oreo with their latest Zen UI 5.
Zenfone 5Z:
The Zenfone 5Z comes under the flagship segment loaded with Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB, 6GB & 4GB RAM variant. Whereas it has a massive 256GB storage (The 256GB is the max storage, it also comes with 64GB and 128GB variant.
On the camera font, it comes with the similar spec of the Zenfone 5 i.e. the rear dual camera 12MP +8MP camera with f1.8 & front it has an 8MP selfie camera along with Android Oreo with ZenUI.
Currently the price for the Zenfone 5Z is 479 Euros (for the 4GB Model), which is around 39,000 INR, $585 USD.
